With the various units of the AASC having been formed in different states, I believe the Petrol Company was predominantly a Victorian unit.

    "4.2.41. Draft leaves for Malaya"

  2. My grandfather was part of the 8th Division Petrol Company. He was a POW for three years. He could very well be one of the men in the photo but its hard to make out
